About Me

Hey y'all! I'm Ashley and I'm pretty pumped you're here.

First things first, I love Jesus thanks in part to Nick Lachey and yes, thats embarrassing every time I say it. I'm passionate about helping women find their voice. Whether its gathering together for a supper club, writing at home online, or standing on stage and speaking life into hundreds of people, God has given each of us a unique passion and a platform- big or small- to use for His glory and to further His kingdom.

My family has been on a pretty wild ride over the last decade that took us from coast to coast, from law enforcement to full time ministry, from quitting to un-quitting the internet yes, thats a thing and we've landed us smack in the middle of Colorado Springs. We currently work for Save The Storks, an apolitical nonprofit that is changing the pro-life conversation and I homeschool our eldest. But lets start at the beginning.

I'm originally from the south and picked up a Bachelor's Degree and a Husband from Florida State University (Go Noles!)  I'm a mom to three amazing little girls, Reese and Kendall and Stella (birth story to come... no seriously, I will. promise). We have probably the cutest, ugly dog out there, Bailey. My girls are smart and funny and wonderful and wild and I love their stinkin' guts. And they travel well, too.

And yes, they are teaching me about grace every day, why do you ask?

I recently took a year and some change break from the internet, but I am so excited to be back! God is doing some crazy awesome things in our lives and I can't wait to share them!

I always say that I want my blog to be a place where we can laugh together, cry together, and just be real with one another. I'd love if this place could be that for you! I know this is the part where I am supposed to link my most viewed posts but they mostly consist of that time my sister dressed like a unicorn, that one recipe for Louisiana Chicken Pasta I copied from The Cheesecake Factory, and the time I decided to quit the internet before getting a job working on the internet and then once again quitting the internet. Which as I'm posting this feels like a pretty good representation of lil' ol' me, so feel free to click around!
